1. Start out with the base. Sharpen it once.


2. Duplicate the base and set it to screen 80%.


3. Make a curves layer with these settings: I: 140. 0:100


4. Make a selective colour layer:
REDS: Cyan: -100 Rest, +100


5. Make a selective colour layer:
REDS: Cyan: -100 Yellow: +70


6. Make a curves layer with these settings: I: 135. 0:160


7. Make a new layer, fill it with # fbd37d. Set it to multiply 80%


8. Make a selective colour layer:
Yellows: C: +71 B: +7
Greens: C: +100 M: +100 Y: -100 B: -100
Cyans: C: +41 Y: -41
Blues: C: +31 Y: +31
Neutrals: C: +66 Y: -21 B: -10


9. Make new layer. Fill it with # 0e1924. Set it to exclusion 80%.


10. Make a selective colour layer:
Reds: C: +100 M: +15 Y: +100
Yellows: C: +100 Y: +25
Cyans: C: +90
Blues: C: +15 M: -30 Y: -50 B: +25


11. Make a new layer. Press “shift + ctrl + alt + e” to merge all layers and paste. This is handy if you do not wish to destroy the PSD. Now, soften up the background and the parts that are too sharp.


12. Decorate the icon at your own wish. I myself used a red dot set at lighten and some small writing.
